Whilst Xperia X10 owners are rejoicing on the news about Android Gingerbread heading to the headset, unfortunately it is not good news for the smaller Xperia models. Sony Ericsson has confirmed that as they need to “prioritise” their resources and thus there are no current plans for the X10 mini, X10 mini pro and X8 to receive the update. What we do know with SE is that they always seem to change their mind, so if you’re being optimistic maybe we will see it at some point down the road after all.

Sony Ericsson has finally announced the over the air update for xperia x8 and the x10 family. Even they have confirm the only And last update ever for us. deep in my heart I still hope for froyo. lets wait for the update and see what other changes made on the update.
