On the right is the volume button and an ON/OFF key. the key also function as a setting key.
it has an accelerator and altimeter sensor which is responsible to detect your daily activity. one more thing that seem interesting is that the band can detect the levitation when walk upstairs or hiking. so it goods for extreme sport enthusiast.
for connectivity it support NFC so with just a simple tag from the back of the phone you can sync the phone to the band. it equip with Bluetooth 4.0 and a micro-usb port. has an internal microphone for voice command and handfree. the screen has tap and gesture input and an on off key.
It require an Android device that runs 4.4 Kitkat or later version and the phone must have the The Lifelog App to record your daily activity. Its waterproof with a max depth around 1.5m.
The band only available in black & white but the wrist straps has various colours some are sold seperately.
The voice command application lets you give certain command to your handset through your SmartBand.
I dont know how to say this but i feel like its more stylish compare to the smartwatch. i like the concept and the idea of the band more than a watch.
my only worries is how long does the band can survive with your daily activities. The specs doesn't mention the band has crushproof of pressureproof ability.
here some more details white paper
here some other neat feature it support.
for software enhancement i'm not to worry cause you know how crazy those developers are at the forums. you can aspect some crazy stuff put to it.
If you thinking to get one. this is something can be considered on. seriously.
